Bumpy-Bertha

Nele teki taannoin Bertin ja se oli niin söpö, että sille oli ihan pakko virkata salarakas nimeltä Bertha. Ohje löytyy maksullisena Ravelrysta. Tulipa viimein kokeiltua afrikkalaisten kukkien virkkaamista ja kuinka puuduttavaa se loppujen lopuksi on. Tähän sai hukutettua hieman yksiväristen sukkalankojen jämiä, mutta 2,0:n koukulla virkattuna lankoja ei paljoa tarvittu. Langanmenekki oli vaivaiset 113 grammaa! Vihreä on Regian 4-fädig:ä, punainen ja musta Dropsin Fabelia ja keltainen sitä surullisen kuuluisaa Schoppel-Wollen Admiralia. Mustat 12mm lasisilmät ja täytevanun hain Hobbypointista. Lopputulos on söpö, mutta väritys vaan ei miellytä silmää. Bertha ei siis välttämättä jää meille asumaan.

This was my first time crocheting african flowers and I soon found out how boring they really were to crochet. I used leftover sock yarns for this but all in all this used only 113 grams in total with a 2,0 crochet hook. The green is Regia 4-fädig, the red and the black are Drops Fabel and the yellow is Schoppel-Wolle Admiral. The black 12mm looped glass eyes and the stuffing are from Hobbypoint. Bertha is cute but the colouring is a bit off I think. So Bertha might not remain at our place.
