I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I'd knit a third Ten stitch blanket. Nope, bad idea. I was supposed to knit the rest of my Estonian wool in this, i.e. about 900 grams but I lost my will to knit this quite early on. According to my Ravelry project page, I started this in May 2014. As I previously told you, Lara fell in love with this blanket when I finally took it out for air about a week ago. Well, I had no choice but to finish the last side of the blanket and crochet the border. This took 635 grams of Aade Long 8/2 and I used 4,0mm dpns and 4,5mm crochet hook. The leftover wool is going to a fellow knitting hag and I did not bother blocking this. It's already 110cm x 126cm and instantly in use. And very much loved.
I also knitted another pair of socks this week but didn't have the energy to weave in the ends until today. This was the first time knitting Opal's 4ply sock yarn. At least I don't remember knitting it before. I could be wrong though. I magiclooped these with 2,5mm circulars and size EUR 42 took only 75 grams. Fish lips kiss heel uses a lot less yarn than the regular heel and gusset.
