No More Zippers, Please!

Hetkonen, onhan tässä yksi pieni juttu valmistunutkin. Pääsi heti käyttöön, niin näköjään unohtui kokonaan raportoida. Virkkasin toisenkin kännykänkuljettimen, tällä kertaa Wollmeise Twin WD Thrilleristä. 2,5:n koukulla meni koko jämäkerä sopivasti tähän eli 45 grammaa. Enkä ymmärrä miten ensimmäisellä kerralla sain vetoketjun ommeltua tuosta noin vain. Tätä ommeltiin ja ratkottiin ja ommeltiin ja ratkottiin... Kuulostaako tutulta? Toivottavasti ei muodostu vuoden teemaksi! Ties kuinkahan mones yritys Singerillä tuotti lopulta kohtuullisen lopputuloksen eikä tarvinnut turvautua käsin ompeluun. Ei kiitos enää vetoketjun kiinnittämistä neulottuun tai virkattuun pintaan, kiitos.

Wait a minute. I did manage to finalise something. I've been using it ever since it was ready so I seem to have forgotten to report about it. I crocheted another over the shoulder pouch for my phone, this time using Wollmeise Twin WD Thriller. It took my leftover skein completely, 45 grams with a 2,5mm hook. And I have no idea how I managed to sew the zipper on perfectly the first time as this one took several attempts. Almost went mad. Sew, rip out, sew, rip out... I hope this doesn't become the theme of this year! Finally it was somewhat acceptable and I didn't need to sew the zipper on completely by hand. No more attaching zippers to a knitted or crocheted garments, thank you. I'm done.
